AGM at the Burgwallis

Heyup all,
Had lunch the other day at the Burgwallis, introduced myself to the new Landlady [of three days]and secured us to have our AGM there next year. Usual code room free if dining, Thinking of early February, [may not have all dates for events by then]. If anyone would like a new venue then feel free to organise it. Would members prefer Saturday night [2/9/16th]or Sunday afternoon [3/10/17th, not sure if Valentines day is used on one of these]?

Sunday afternoon much better for me.

Steve we can do any Saturday or Sunday for the AGM.

EDITED. ANYONE GOT A PROBLEM WITH SUNDAY 20TH JANUARY. A little closer and I will need an approximate number of who will be eating there [thats part of the deal]. I will do the minutes and post them in members section as well as supplying a copy at the AGM, May has almost got the accounts sorted and the commitee will get together to sort out an itinary.

Going to have lunch there today and will see if they have next years diary. will pencil 20th January in. Will get a price for Sunday lunch and post it, remember I may have to cancel this booking if no one wants to eat here. Can I have numbers now who will eat please.

Nice lunch was had and the date is in the book, the price is £6.95 it seems to have increased a little but if we don't eat we have to pay for the room, so as 'tis the season of good will and we've had a good year it has been decided that the group funds will subsidise the meal with a rembusement of £5 per 2012 paid up member. Nice one. [Still need numbers of diners, expect to eat anytime up to 2pm when we expect to start the meeting]

The minutes and accounts and itinarey are to be anylised after Christmas and will be sent out early doors for your perusal an comments. Remember if you want changes or see something new, now is the time to start thinking and discuss it.

Spoke to Burgwallis tonight and ITS BUSINESS AS USUAL tomorrow. No one has said they are not going so i'll see you there the roads are clear today but do be careful.

thanks steve, hoping antibiotics may have worked? wont know until the camera has had a look? anyway, to confirm that myself & jan will be continuing our membership for 2013.
